Do not say especially by observing: "they are such cute little monkeys! ". They are primates, but not monkeys. They live only on the island of Madagascar, where each has a defined territory.

Christian, don't tell me that you went to Madagascar in order to capture this image for us, LOL!!!

Very nice and cute capture.

I have seen these before on some animal shows on tv and never thought of them as having any resemblance to monkeys...they do remind me just a little of raccoons but are quite unusual looking...I understand that impressive tail is very strong for swinging and balance but not for hanging upside down...lovely shot, Christian.

Seeing these Ring Tailed Lemurs reminds me of the time spent volunteering at Bristol Zoo, apparently Madagascar is the largest island in the world!

Lovely photograph Christian.

Of course, these are our ancestors and more respect is due from us, the younger offspring. :)
Incredible how for instance gorilla and this cutie can be both primates ... Life is full of surprises.
Thanks for this fine image, dear Christian.
