Oh, yes, nice photo, Ed. Beautiful. We have many churches and monasteries with this kind of paintings, so this is close and familiar to me. I love it.

Oh Edoardo...what wonderful art work on this architecture! I am so very happy you did a 'close up' of this, so we can enjoy the intricate details even more. It's amazing how so much of this kind of "painting" was done to the outside of the lovely places where you life. And they have withstood many tests of time. This is so beautiful now, I can imagine how bright and glorious it was when it was painted and the colors were bright. Or is that a fresco. Your post-photo is bringing out the faces nicely in this one. Love it!
