Another in a long series of back woods roads I've found myself traveling down. My dream is to someday not to have my kidneys jammed up into my shoulder blades by actually traveling on a smooth paved road surface where the potholes are only every other foot and not every foot as on these woods roads. Well that or have a flying car, which would be neat too.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
While your current entry is a good one, I personally prefer this one...I think it's a fantastic long-range shot, with a marvellous sweeping sky, and a sense of solitude and seldom-travelled...either way, best of luck in the contest.

Lovely looking capture and beautiful natural colours and the sky is breath taking my friend.Plus nice detail and great composition too.Plus the white sun with the white clouds adds a lovely feel to this photo as well.

This certainly has the look of a road used solely by people who use it for work. The portrait alignment of your photo helps to emphasize the road and its length, and creates a slightly claustrophobic feel in the trees by pinching them in from the sides. One of the better entries in the contest that I've seen. You should do well with this one, Wendell (wow, did I say "wuw" enough times in that short sentence? 8P). -Nik
