Another picture from Pacific Grove peninsula taken last weekend at approximately this location: J3Q7+75 Pacific Grove, California. This area is roped off at the top due to the nesting of several birds breeds including gulls and cormorants. Thanks for looking.

Bruce, I see two seagulls sitting on their 'throne' observing their territory and possibly for taking care of their progeny as well.
I can clearly see the ropes in your, anyhow wonderful, capture.

I really love rock scapes like this whether on the shore, the desert, or the mountains, and I like how you left the gulls in the photo. They are small enough to not be so obvious that they pull away some of the thunder of the rocks, yet large enough to provide the perfect scale.
