An amazing weather phenomenon, perfectly captured by you, Bruce. I've seen many different clouds during my lifetime, but not a lenticular one like this one. I'm not that lucky like you, Buddy, 😁 !
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Bruce, I have been lucky enough to have seen and photograph a Fallstreak Hole, but I have never been fortunate to see a Lenticular cloud. It must have been amazing for you to have seen this.
The Mothership has arrived!!! My idiocy aside, this is a very cool shot, Bruce. Lenticulars form over high mountains and mountain ranges (like one I caught out in Glacier National Park, coming over the Continental Divide), and manifest in a variety of shapes. They are somewhat rare, though, so you are lucky to have been in the right place at the right time.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
The three layers we see here make this the shelf variation of a lenticular, and an obvious choice for the contest. You are sure to place well, Bruce. Good luck.
