Another view of Rodeo Beach in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area that I visited a week ago or so. I was just east of "Battery Mendell" where I took this picture. More coming:):)

Another very fine contribution of this wonderful series, Bruce.
At full screen size it's like I'm a real spectator of this scene, thanks to the quality of your image.
So perfectly done! I'm looking forward for other entries of this series, so let them come!
S+F! Thanks, Buddy, 👍 !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

During WWII, over the western United States, there were towers built and repurposed as Aircraft Warning Service Observation Towers, for the detection of Japanese aircraft. I have to wonder if the circular concrete foundations and rusted steel scrap in the foreground were a part of one, positioned as it is near Battery Mendell. Do you know, Bruce?
