Bruce, I agree with Paul and you about the colors, and I agree with Paul about the appearance of a ceiling of a Sistine Chapel. The 3D-impression has struck me. Perfectly done, Buddy. Kudos, 👍 .
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
As a child I learned to read using encyclopedias as my first books. Within some of the pages of the natural history volumes, I would find illustrations of portions and cutaways of prairies, deserts, forests, oceans, and ponds. These illustrations were loaded with the critters that lived in those ecosystems and this image of yours, Bruce, is what I would describe as a pond ecosystem, except one found on a planet many millions of miles away, in a system where the main source of light is a lilac-colored sun. Wild as hell.
