Bruce, up till now I wasn't aware there's a report of the study of the forms of things. The result however is wonderful and in my humble opinion it is commendable to introduce these kinds of reports worldwide. At least they'd be looked at closely and wouldn't disappear unread in a desk drawer, Buddy, 😁 !

The morphology appears to be attempting to squeeze out through the dark stone bastions, in order to absorb and change the pink cells. The addition of the light blue line around the central element gives it a 3D effect, and the stones and cells are visually using it to hold back the Blue Morph of Middle Earth.
