This looks both metallic and organic, and brings to my mind an essential element in Andy Weir*s new novel, *Project Hail Mary* (some of you may recall his bestseller *The Martian*). It could be floating in orbit above a planet with strangely well-organized clouds~~almost as though they were alive! Jeez Louise, Bruce, your piece is sending me off on another mind-journey, this time almost a light-year away!
