Another find in Benicia the other day. The ships wheel has the name of it engraved on the face but I can't read it. Maybe one of you smart people can:):) I love this old stuff and I'm sure Mr. C will appreciate it as well:):)
You've hit the nail on its head, Bruce. A great display with maritime/nautical objects/ornaments. The 'globe' is a perfect symbol for what seamen have to do: sailing the seven seas. Wish that I could be back in time again, but reality prevents me to do so. By watching such a fine image, the only that remains is nostalgia now. S+F. Thanks, Buddy, 👍 !
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

I could have sworn I already commented on this one but, then again, my Covid-brain is nearing 70 years and my contract does say--in the fine print--that I get to oooh and aaah over photos, but then forget to mention that I'm ooohing and aaahing. As a U.S. Navy veteran and a former scuba diver, my nautical background and penchant for these items make this an exhibit and photo I can fully appreciate.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
