Bruce, not only in American homes. I had a similar wallpaper in one of my rooms too. When I look at the photograph of this room, taken about 1965, I'm amazed about my choice then. This doesn't take away that your creation is a very fine one with subtle patterns and very suitable for a DT wallpaper now. Good work again, Buddy!.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

I just came back from four days in a lodge (bearing the word *Bear* in their name) on the Gunflint Trail, out along the Boundary Waters between Canada and the U.S. Considering the repeating patterns of a wreath and what looks like the face of a bear, I think this *wallpaper* of yours would be perfect for the bathroom in our room there.
