Greetings! I know the title isn't the best. I was looking to encapsulate the current image from some years back and also what is happening with us this very moment. Straight away, as many of you know, hurricane Dorian is very close to the east coast of Florida. We're on the west coast and shouldn't get hit too hard. If the storm decides like someone who's had too much to drink and staggers to the west it would be a whole new game. Although it looks as though it will hug the east coast, my fear is that it could cross the state, enter the Gulf of Mexico and redevelop and come for us. I will keep you posted none the less. Now on to the entry. I had submitted a photo(s) of this place before(Hong Kong Willie) I passed by it the other day and it appears to be closing. I never been inside. I'm sure the land will be snatched up to build condos for college kids. Take care!

As an experienced old captain I can assure you that once Dorian starts to curve to the right it will not go over land and that all you will get will be some strong winds. A puzzling (to me) image !

Quite a collection Willie has going Alex.
I hope it stays out to sea and never reaches landfall.
Stay safe and batten down the hatches.

From what I've heard, hurricanes will often take the path of least resistance so it's doubtful it would rear back towards you...however, one can never be sure what Dorian will do so take all precaution and keep us posted...an interesting assortment of signs etc. here...take care, Alex.

Alex, last night I saw on one of our TV-channels the damage that Dorian has caused on the Bahama's.
I agree with Raj, that Dorian probably won't strike the west coast of Florida. Hope however that there won't be victims and much damage on the east coast of Florida.

Thanks for this capture. A very apt contribution for Mē !
