Wonderful image Jan, does me almost feel the warm glow of the setting sun in my face. Does me desire for the summer again as well, the more there's more chance than for good foto weather. Think that you, others and I are waiting for some autumn sunshine which enables us (people at the northern hemisphere) to capture some photo's. Regards, Cornelius

Well, this is anything but flat and grey. Like the silhouette effect and the great looking orange sky. I like the border also. Nice post.

What a great take on a lovely sunset! I like the hillside/diagonal silhouette and the generously orange sky!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wild and firey, I love silhouettes against the sunset. It's a great antidote to the grey weather too - I keep looking for opportunities to get out there but they're not coming.

I just read, that the most beautiful sunsets speak of the most dirty air. So your air must have been very dirty. Great shot with amazing Walters.
