Tulips are my favorite flower, because of the memories of my childhood. We had a lot of tulips planted in front of the house. I love your macro work here. The image is sharp and colorful. Very nice, Jan.

Well done Jan, you did everything needed to get a great image. Your hard work paided off. Composition; superbe, lighting well done specially with the right amount from the reflector, and the little extra you added shows that you know what you are doing. Did you also correct the color balance generated by the tungsten light? If so, you also left some to the right amout to keep it warm. Favs it is

Without your 'inventive' title I had never known it was a tulip Jan (lol/smile). Your image however is really great!
Very good work again.

Interesting lighting on this one Jan, very effective :) And I think the title is much better than two lips- that wouldn't suit it at all! Excellent work with very good clarity. (I really like that lighting!)

I prefer to leave your titles untouched! LOL What I read is what I get. By the way, I'm always enjoying your indoor experimentations. The great lighting and colours make this portrait gorgeous. :)

Wow. Usually when i come across a picture i can find something that isn't quite perfect, but i looked at this one for a while and can't find anything that could be improved. You did a great job controlling the light, and nailed the focus, and depth of field. Great work.

The lighting is really good. I have been looking for my desk lamp for doing this sort of thing, but as usual my daughter has put it somewhere and doesn't remember where. Perhaps on purpose? lol I love the water droplets too.
