Another great shot of this bug. I am 95% sure this is in fact a Katydid. They are related to the grasshopper.

I've uploaded last year the same kind of insect, with the title: 'Its green and it jumps', because I did not know either
its name!

I think it is a Katydidn't. Some of them won't own up to anything. Great clear shot. Presentation is perfect Jan.

Well I disagree with Stan's comment. I think it's a Katy didn't. I just want to ask questions about this. 1. How on earth did you spot it? 2. What was it sitting on? 3. How did you get in that close? 4. Be honest now, did you move it onto some pretty light green flowers to get a better background? 5. Are they going to take over the earth any time soon. You are a genius. You must have been born with a camera in your hand. It's in your blood.

They are fond of cold chicken soup. Twice a day a spoon and he/she will grow more that 4 inches long.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.
