Is this another mean sky study Jimbob? I don't ever think I have seen Thunderclouds that shade of purple before, but it adds to the drama. Keep them coming there is nothing I like better then storm with lots of thunder and lighting.. Mansfield sounds sort of familar is it anywhere near Portsmouth?

Ohio really does have some great places. I love the clouds. You can tell by looking at the lake that a soft breeze is blowing in. Great job Jim.

Neat shot Jim. The stuff on the lake makes things look almost backwards giving a great depth effect to the photo.

Read the comments above Jimbob. Like you say that it's your artistic freedom to decide to manipulate the colours of the clouds or not. Think nobody asks a painter whether his painting is real or not.
Great and very impressive post to me.
Well done JimunumbrellawillnotbehelpfulthistimeboB.

what a menacing sky Jim! the scene would be pretty to look at with a blue sky or even white but all that action going on in the sky brings it to life!

Wherever it is, I love that sky - and the rest of the view. The blocks of colour are terrific as Steve says, and I do like the slightly unnatural tones of the sky. It's a winner.
