No...it's not Al Hirt, or Doc Severinsen. This Trumpeter Swan lives at the Columbus zoo. Thanks for the comments and the views. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there.

This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
It's great to see a Trumpeter Swan Jimbob even if it is in a zoo, their numbers tumbled in North America due to hunting some time back. If Mich gave this upload a 10 in the vb then it must be good ! (o:
I love the swan's pose ... very elegant or coy. The color contrasts are very nice & natural. I notice a few overexposed areas on the swan, but not too bad. Fantastic shot Jim ... Happy Father's Day!
In Poland Father's Day is 23 June, this coming Tuesday.
I will go to the cemetery.
I am not dramatic - this just such age when one meets friends either at the doctor's or at funerals or eventually anyway on cemetery.
Sorry for my mood - it has been raining all day long and stopped now.
Trumpeter! Hmmmm! You don't by any chance have a sax player or drummer swimming around in there do you?? A fine job on the great swan capture, Jimbo. I'm hoping all those kids of yours running loose in the trailer park, gave you a great Fathers Day BBQ and party. Excellent capture and Happy Father's Day!
I think you have more friends then anyone on this site JimboB. I know it takes a while to get to the bottom of your posts. lol
This is great and it reminds me of a musical note, even though I am not a musician. Nor a magician as far as that goes. You are that with your great photos.
Great post.
