This is a Bed & Breakfast in Grand Rapids, Ohio, which is the town just across the Maumee River from the canal area that I posted.

Nice shot, Jim.

I am guessing that you already cropped this one?

If so, and if I may.. a suggestion..

There is little interest in the area off to the left of the house (this perspective). Without the benefit of having been there, or if correct on the assumption of you cropping ... would lose that area. Not entirely, mind you.

Something like this ... "Housley House" - Cropped.

(/\ Hope you don't mind?)

And..

If there is some more visual interest (with the original file/image), off to the right ... include (more of) that area/substitute/change crop.

Or..

If this area is available to you, go back ... take a few steps forward, keeping your composition (more or less) as is.

Bit of noise present, at least, more so viewable in the larger resolution size(s). Easily remedied, methinks.

That said..

Lovely house and captured well. Nice, natural colours. It is.. a good good shot.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this architectural look with us. :o)

Jimbob, what an interesting building. I see the lights are on both upstairs and down. Did you, by any chance, stay here during your canal area visit?

It looks good to me JimboB. So what's for breakfast? If it is as good as this shot, it will be something special. I give this one 10 sunny sides up.

Looks like it could be from New Orleans. It reminds me of the style of houses there. It is a pretty house and well kept because it is a business. There is a house around here that is so wonderfully painted and huge that I always want a snap of, but I don't have the nerve to stop and point my camera. lol
Nicely captured, Jim. I really like that lamp post too.
