I had never seen one of these until yesterday. There was one just laying out on the patio. I took a few shots in macro mode with the Canon G9 before it flew off.

I enjoy this image Jimbob, but think my wife won't agree with me. Can't understand her in this case however, because it's a precious critter, lol.
