Maybe I have watched too many "Westerns," but having a door and windows on that house, outside of the protective walls, seems a little dangerous to me!! lol. Jimbob, I have liked this visit of the fort very much. ~~ John
I recognize your work, your great work without seeing your name under it... And I love your compositions with their very nice effects and atmosphere and ofcourse the subjects. Very good photo! Mich
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Well, Jimbob, when you commented on my definition of rustic, which included 1. A rural person. and 2. A person regarded as crude, coarse, or simple, I had hoped for a self portrait. You could have removed your false teeth, gummed your favorite corn cob pipe and put on that straw hat and bib overalls that you're always wearing.
This shot's a beauty. Good luck in the contest. I would have preferred the self portrait, but this posting won't scare the voters.
I think a photo of Skitzo (Roger,Dorothy,Dotger) would have been a good entry too JimboB. To me this is about as rustic as it gets. The cultivator adds the final touch. I suspect this will be in the winner's circle.
Jimbo dear, This image is: 1. in compliance with the contest idea [rustic = rural + old] 2. generally most appealing The best of luck [considering your competition LOL], SAM
