Think Richie may be right. Can be a species of the cabbage white butterfly. Very clear subject against a nice bokeh has resulted in a very fine image, Jimbob.

For me, a non-butterfly watcher, this white butterfly strikes me as quite unsual. It would not blend well in its environment and thus be quite visable to its natural enemies. Oh well, if he is not unique to the world, he is to me. Thanks Jim.

This is a wonderfully crisp capture of that butterfly. Pity about his wing though - looks like someone has taken a bite out of it. Well done!
