Good and colorful details of this 'retired' lightship Jimbob.
Although it don't 'sail' (on a fixed position, lol) anymore, it's still an intriguing subject to me. Maritime heritage as well.

Nice close-up of this old lightship Jimbob with clear details. Brings back memories for me - I started my sea carrier as a cadet in 1955!

I'm glad you did.I like the way it fills the screen so boldly.
Nice one indeed Jimbob.
Do I detect a bit of HDR enhancing her nice bodywork ?

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A great close up JimBob - it really shows off the equipment used in the shipping industry. Our little boats seem so simple after seeing all this.

Because you could is exactamundo, JimBob.
The colors really grab you, then you start looking at the details and the next thing you know, you have been swept out to sea.

Well yeah why not, you could, and you did, and ended up with a very good close up. I like the details in this one, and good editing too.
