I suppose we all chase rainbows at some time in our lives, but we are never in the right place at the right time to catch them. I photographed this rainbow arching over a loch in Scotland one evening….I am a lucky photographer content in the knowledge that I had caught this particular rainbow…..Please enjoy.

Am I seeing double Mick? :) You truly are fortunate to capture such a scene but you patience for getting just the right light has paid off handsomely. I like the light in the trees.

I don't think I have even seen so many rainbows like I did when while in Scotland. Wonderful capture of the double rainbow. Your patience paid off 100% for a beautiful photo.

I have never seen a rainbow that brilliant. What a sight that must have been. I once saw a double rainbow, but both were about like the one on the right in this shot. Gorgeous work, Mick.

STOP AND SMELL THE FOOFIES
Very vivid, and stunning for one, soft and gentle for the other ... and first prize for the photographer!!! Yes, about chasing rainbows. I once picked a spot in a field at the end of a rainbow (for sure), walked there, and it was no longer there! So much for my chasing rainbows, but I do feel fortunate to see them, and get a few photos now and then.
