Found this pinecone hiding under a bridge. Perhaps it's been hiding from Old Man Winter .

Good textures and colours here Marsha. The pine cone has a bed of stalks to lie on even during the winter.

Must be a pinecone 'clochard'. (a 'clochard' is a French tramp spending the night under a bridge in Paris).
Love the textures in this one Marsha. Good one.

regards, Cornelius.

I like how you presented this one Marsha, with the addition of the bridge that has offered that lonely pine cone some shelter, this was a good find. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I like the natural (man-made) framing of the lone pinecone. Well done Marsha.

Lovely shot. I love pine cones, I always did, I don't know why. Maybe because I love evergreens. Nice work, Marsha.

Someone has made it a bed of needles, so if it was hiding all winter, at least it was comfy! Very nice find and capture, Marsha.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
