The modern sure does enter the city with strength and power sitting next to the older historic buildings. Wonderful capture, Eve! Did you take photos inside, too?

Hi LynEve, are you on holiday in the UK? I see your profile says NZ. I live south of Manchester and have posted several images of this amazing building - if you check out my gallery you will be able to see them. Nice angle to this one showing the contrast between the old architecture and the new architecture. well done! Patii

What an image Eve. The museum seems so out of place in this setting and you've magnified that oddity perfectly in this capture. An outstanding presentation of architectural differences. I like modern design while I like old victorian as well. Can't say I like both together though ... just looks weird. :o)

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Oh my gosh! It looks like something from outer space. I wonder that they had to put it so close to the other buildings. The perspective on this took be aback at first until I figured out what it was. Very thought provoking image.

A fine shot, well done. Patti (Fogz) showed us some of this awhile back. Ultra swank architecture.

Well done Eve! The museum seems almost spaceage in design compared to the ones surrounding it. Very cool capture..=)

Caught this pic in VB. Had to check if real or put there. Nice picture, but makes me sad that building just does not belong in that neighborhood.
