Gerry's wonderful pictures of seedheads have been a delight to see and this is a thankyou for inspiring me to try something similar. Nowhere near your fine standard Gerry, but was fun to give it a go. This is a clematis seedhead. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

This is outstanding!! A nice tribute too as Gerry's work is smashing!!

The lighting and backdrop really enhance the detailed view of the seedhead!! Amazing colorations abound!! A+

The seedhead has come out very sharp and clear and the green background really shows it off. Well done, Lyn.

I think you did very well with this. I love the green in the background and it really plays up the complexity and beauty of something as simple as a seed head. Some things just go on being beautiful right to the end.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

You did a fine tribute to Gerry and a fine presentation with your own style. Frame pure Lyn. It's amazing how those seed heads pop out. I sure miss the Macro setting on my old Canon 35mm. Someday maybe...............

Looks like you guys are seedhead to seedhead in this race and not a nose to count for the winning. Actually, it's a nice compliment to Mr. P that you would admire his style so much that you tried the technique yourself. Well done.
