The number of times I have unsuccessfully tried to get a blurred background in a photo would make you laugh. Then up pops this one - I must have done something right by accident! It is just a pity the seed pod in the centre isn't a bud. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . . Comments welcome and thank you for viewing :)

Great post Lyn. The colors are so wonderful. I really like the framing and the out of frame look. It is obvious you spent some time on this one. It paid off.

You seem to have captured a nice background to go with this lovely fruit and blooms. The shadows on the ground are telling us that it is a pleasantly warm day with sunshine falling on this pretty plant and it in turn provides not just proof of its own beauty, but a show of it's cooperation with the sun's rays in creating the shadows.
