Been away for a few days and the only photos taken were of grandchildren, so back to the butterflies. These ones appeared to be enjoying sitting by the flowing water. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7. Thank you for viewing :)

They really do look like they're enjoying the spray from the water rushing past don't they. You must have taken this at very high speed, because the water is so perfectly frozen. The butterflies look like jewels, and I like the deep green of the lillies which you've picked up in the frame. One of your best butterflies to date I reckon.
I love this little pair, they are so beautiful and the colours are really lovely. They make such a good contrast against the dark waters and glossy green leaves and yet seem to match perfectly because of the dark patches on thier wings. In short they seem right at home!

Do butterflies have ears? Maybe the sound of the water was lulling them into being peaceful. Anyway, you were able to capture the two of them quite well sitting on the rock. Nice post, Eve.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
