Gather ye rose-buds while ye may, Old Time is still aflying, And this same flower that smiles today, Tomorow will be dying. ~Robert Herrick . . . . .Yellow Roses symbolize joy and friendship. . . . .Taken today with Canon EOS 450D. This Hybrid Tea rose, Austragold, lives in my garden and has special significance for me as it was planted in memory of a loved one. . . .Comments always welcome and appreciated.

Wise words of Robert Herrick. Your image is a perfect visualisation of what he said Lyn. Your presentation is again of a high quality. This all together make this to a excellent post.

Beautiful yellow rose Lyn, with a beautiful presentation. I like the way you have made the shadows around the flower.

Loved your poem, photo and framing. It really blends together. I am envious of your warm weather. How long is your winter when you have it? Good post Lyn.

This rose is beautiful, is a beautiful shot, the framing is suburb, and the planting of it such a wonderful thought.

With that dof, you have done great justice to this very healthy and beautiful rose. It seems as though the bud is coming out of the frame towards us. Again, the frame work is perfect too.
