Werribee Park Mansion, Victoria, Australia was built by pastoralists Andrew Chirnside and Thomas Chirnside between 1874 and 1877 in the Italianate style, comprising of 60 rooms. Thomas Chirnside took his own life here. From 1923 to 1973, the Mansion was a Catholic seminary, Corpus Christi College. Since then it has been owned by the Victoria State Government. It was opened as a tourist attraction in 1977. . . . . . . I have been browsing through my folder of photos taken with my little Canon Powershot A580 during my holiday in Melbourne last November, and doing a bit of post work on them. Thanks for looking, I am interested to know what you think.

I'd be quite pleased if my post work produced such wonderful results as this, Eve. So well worth the effort. I especially like the detail you brought out and the angle of the shot.

Wonderful building with a dramatic sky. Is this the same mansion you entered to the Negative Space Contest?...I mean its staircase.

I really like the post work you do on all of your photos and this one is no exception! I can't believe that was someones house! I can't imagine why I would ever want that much space. Are there any hauntings reported there? They always make for a nice story to go along with an old building like this.
