Hello friends. I just wanted to share this with you. My 15 year old niece taking part in an Anzac service on Saturday. My parents, her grandparents, rest at this cemetery so it was a special occassion, and afterwards she left a posy at their plaque. My father was a seaman and she has inherited his love of it, hoping for a career in the Navy.

She looks very smart standing there in her uniform. I wish her a fine career in the navy. Nice collage of the day's events.

Lyn, glad you're back. Hope you had a wonderful 40th Wedding Anniversary.
This is an impressive post to me. Said it on many occasions: "Let's never forget those who gave their life for our freedom."
Regards, Cornelius.

I just sent you a PM saying that I missed you and up you pop! Wow! What a wonderful tribute and she does have a determined look on her face. I wish her much good fortune in her endeavors in this chosen career. I like the background color you used. It has a military blue apppeal. Nicely done, Eve.
Good to see you.

I was listening to a very interesting piece about Anzac Day on the radio. The BBC correspondent was saying how interest in the day is increasing, especially amongst the young, although some people do use it as an excuse to spend the day drinking (he was mainly talking about Aus, though). I'm sure you are rightly very proud of your niece.

You must have been very proud LE. I like the composite you've done here, it almost has the feel of a news piece. Looks like your Dad died terribly young? It must have been a really moving occasion.
