I can see the sea from my house, but not the breakwater. Today I could hear the waves thumping so abandoned dinner preparation and drove down to take a look at sunset. I am wondering if our penguins managed to get ashore tonight because it was pretty rough.

A sheer coincidence that Today I saw a documentary about penguins in the Antarctic and how they brave the waves to climb up on the steep icebergs. So I am sure yours survived too Lyn. Very impressive shot of the wave breaking on the pier. The birds add that extra plus to this image
