The illuminated foreground compliments the equally illuminated background, LE. The rich, blue sky adds contrast. Brilliant!

Gorgeous colors Lyn, and a perfect spot for photos, but I'm hoping you also went to the shore and shot straight across to get the opposite shore a flat and straight as a knife's edge. That would make one heckuva pano with deep blue above and below the golden trees, with nothing in the way.
