photography->sunset/rise
From a few nights ago - a gentle sunset with the snow-covered mountains below and the clouds between the hills and the mountains, I thought it was worth standing in the cold to watch and capture. It was very soon over.

Yeah, I saw some stunning colors out my bow window this morning, at around 5:30 a.m., from the sunrise, gray partial cloud cover, and an odd morning light making the green of tree leaves look almost HDR, but, as you mention, by the time I was wondering how many exposures were left in the SD card currently in my camera, those colors had moved on. That's what makes those times so special... they are mercurial. This one is a bit soft but I love how the low clouds are racing in between the mountains and hills, as well as the contrasts in color and light. s it possible to take a bad photo in Ne Zealand? ;o]
