Old miners cottages in Arrowtown, Central Otago, New Zealand which now house restaurants,craft shops and art galleries, all locally owned.
The Arrowtown gold rush began in 1862.

Lyn, I've checked-out your link. To me Arrowtown in the past (1905) had the appearance of an American Western town. Dindn't see any cowboys however, 😁 .

I think this is a lovely capture of the area, what a huge difference from then and now. I love the shadow play I see in this one.

SEA and Kathy are right LE, it reminds me of the Old West in our country as well. I love those trees. Are they on the other side of the road as well? I read where they have an Avenue of Trees.
