My contribution for SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES.
Paint Your Wagon (1969) starred Clint Eastwood & Lee Marvin, and was set in the California gold rush days.

I did not know much about the movie until I looked it up and discovered what it was about, and I was delighted at the coincidence that this wagon I photographed on display in a little alleyway in Arrowtown,New Zealand, is a relic from their own Central Otago gold rush era. I loved the wagon when I saw it and am pleased to use its photo here.

Here is song from the movie for you to listen to or sing along to Wandrin' Starr - Click Here

I remember that movie well even if Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin couldn't sing they made a good effort - interesting history behind this well shot buggy.

Not one of Eastwood's fines moments but I did enjoy Lee Marvin's gruff voice. I think you have the honor of being the first to post a SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES, photo.
It sure is off to a good start. Well done LE.

A great movie and marvelous choice of title for this image...it really fits well, even tho' I do rather like the weathered look to this old wagon:)...I also enjoyed the musical accompaniment...great work, Lyn, and thanks for this very fine contribution to Saturday Night at the Movies.
