For Manic Monday. He may not look very manic but he was - he did his best to prevent me from resting my camera on 'his' wall to get a snap of the paraglider flying over Lake Wakatipu(which you may just see in the centre of the shot- a tiny yellow blob atop a mounain).
He can be forgiven though, because he is a Black Billed Gull (Tarapuka), sadly the most threatened gull species in the world. If you want to see one you will need to come to New Zealand as they only live here.
