I placed the flower on aluminium foil in my mini light-box to try to replicate a brook :)
Some people consider forget-me-nots to be weeds - I love them and let them grow wherever they like in my garden.

I have never thought of them to be weeds. But, I guess some may. Some see beauty in things and people, some don't or just don't give it a thought. Glad you do.

The soft and light bokeh in other parts of your photo, Lyn, made me think your foil trick was actually a brook until I read your post. Thos horizontal lines brushed into the surface really did look like light trails left by passing tiny bits of flotsam and jetsam. Overall quite lovely with a nice effect.
