I could think of no more appropriate image having viewed our Richie's two last posts. The pic was taken shortly before sunset in November 2014. Thanks, dearest friends. Hugs and kisses from SAM & SAAB
This has made me start singing the song from "Annie" The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow." (I always loved that song.).....and the sun comes out for all of us, too. Beautiful work, SAM.
Life comes at us strong sometimes so it is nice to know the sun will yet come out for us all. Having strong battles myself but overcoming them little by little leaves me wanting light for my day. Thanks Marzena for the hugs and kisses and that picture is a very touching scene.

Thanks SAM, your warmth has touched Richie and his family and all the rest of us.
This shows that a beautiful image can also mean sadness - it only depends on in which context it is viewed. A nice tribute to someone who has departed too early leaving friends and relatives in deep sorrow. Good one Marzena.
SAM, it's not always 'sunshine' in this world. Sometimes we are confronted with the cruel reality. In such cases (referring to my own experience) it's good that good friends show their empathy and offer comfort to bear the pain. You're such a friend!
Although it will take time, I hope that Doreen and Richie will see the 'sunshine' behind the dark clouds again. Therefore your image is not only a touching but an appropriate one as well.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
