NOTICE: THIS IMAGE IS COPYRIGHTED AND NOT TO BE POSTED ON ANY OTHER WEBSITE. I was buzzing down the road and zoomed right past this scene but it caught my eye in time to jerk my head around. I hit the brakes, did a u-turn and went back. Yep, this was a grand photie ready to be plucked. Your critical critiques are appreciated.

Don't worry, I think the horizon being off is such a common problem. Heck, we always worry about clarity and coloring but always forget the horizon.

Saw the previous one announced in my friends-list but it was already deleted when I tried to comment on it. So I can't compare them. Can therefore only say that this is a great composition with ditto colours Momma. Beautiful photograph in all ways!

Great composition and contrast with the colours. I keep wondering if the central hay bale might be better off more to the left as opposed to centered like that, but for some reason its current positioning make it difficult for me to stop staring at it. The depth of the sky is also entrancing.

I would have enjoyed sharper contrast on the foreground, but the soft effect works as well.

Very nice! Normally, scenes like this are abound in my area this time of year. Unfortunately, due to the massive amounts of rain, crops and harvest are several weeks behind.

Hello Pat....I do like the simplicity of this picture...The coolness of the blue sky and the warm colours of the harvested field really compliment each other...This picture also reminds me that winter is just around the corner....Well done....All the best to you Pat.....................................Mick.
