I finally got to shoot a little today. The temperature wasn't so bad. I had discovered this view of the bayou several years ago and decided I would try and find it gain, which I obviously did. The dirt road leading back to it had deteriorated considerably so I almost didn't go but decided to give it a whirl. It is really secluded, thus the title. Composition note: I almost was going to make two images out of this, then decided to leave it as one. ????? Canon 40D with Sigma 17-50mm. Please view full screen.

Pat, I'm so glad you were able to find it again, this is one stunning image, with such a nice variety of colors, and the reflections are superb! ♥♥tigs=^..^=

I LOVE this one. The scene is gorgeous with the trees and reflections. Why are you using the 40D when you have all those other cameras?

Now that's purdy, I don't care who you are!! I think I remember your saying the old classic took better pix then the new one. I think this is proof.
Composition is perfecto young lady. The shadows, reflections and smoothness makes this a one to keep around.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
You have given us a 'double delight' here!...the reflections are so sharp it twins the top half!...I'm glad you left that bit of tree in the shot, because it adds to the scene, otherwise there would be no focal point for our eye!...
