This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Jen said you had spent some time with them and would be posting before long. This is a good start and I too like the road splitting the image. I remember the Kodachrome days.
Wow this is a stunning looking photo and great composition too.The colours and the sky is stunning and the feel of distance is felt in this photo as well.10/10
I usually try to position myself so as to not get anything man-made in a striking landscape photo like this, but truthfully, I also go out of my way to get at least one that includes the road. So many of our national parks naturally have to have roads so we can get there from here (wherever here might be), that the frequent traveler finds they develop the skill, out of necessity, to unconsciously remove those unnatural elements from the view. So a scene like this is probably the most typical of all visits to an American national park. So don't misunderstand, Paul, I DO like the photo, and the low angle on the shot, capturing the road from a more intimate position, works especially well.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
There is something about open road images that really appeal to me. Such a scenic well composed clear image. Natural isolated beauty. Saved to enjoy more.
Professional as always Paul.
