This family has so many inflatable lights that they are running out of yard space. It reminded me of a comic where the wife was looking at her husband's light stringing and told her daughter that it makes her feel like she is living in an ugly Christmas sweater.

I think the neighbor on the left is thinking "Hooo-boy! Why did I bother?" Most of this is recognizable--I think I've seen all of it in my neighborhood... the ENTIRE neighborhood. But I'm not sure about the thought process behind Lemuel Gulliver's upside-down umbrella frame, oversized to fit Gulliver while he was on Lilliput Island? Wild. (By the way, I didn't buy my wife an ugly Christmas sweater this year--never have--but I did give her a tee-shirt that looks like one with the words "Who you callin' ugly?" in the middle.)

I have been enjoying your series of neighborhood Christmas lights displays. I know from experience that it can be very difficult to photograph nighttime Christmas lights well. But you make it look beautiful and easy.
