The crane looks very statuesque and looks marvelous against all the greenery...I can see this as a beautiful wall hanging...lovely capture.

Uhmmmm... Isn't that ... oh, okay, someone else mentioned sandhill. Here in North Dakota I'm constantly coming across them in the slim backwaters of lakes and creeks, kayaking in quietly so they usually don't know I'm there until I turn the corner... or my wife is talking about her job. Beautiful, elegant birds. Either this one was very trusting or you used a long lens.
