Pella, Iowa, was settled by the Dutch and takes pride in their heritage. This functional windmill was imported from Holland and is a centerpiece for the town's historical village.

It is so much fun going to Pella, really any time of the year. This is a gorgeous shot of part of the town. I believe it is partly a museum.

Jeff, not only the traditional windmill has a Dutch appearance, but the adjacent houses as well. It wouldn't me amaze that in the spring the environment is decorated with tulips as well, in order to make this feast for the eyes complete.
