I was unsuccessful in getting a good contrast for this image. I "think" it is a type of hyacinth, but I'm not certain. It caught my eye because it was orange instead of the usual blues or pinks.

I agree with you Jeff - I believe it's a peach color hyacinth which are uncommon but very pretty - I don't see them often. Nicely captured.

A peach Hyacinth, eh? Very nice, indeed. I'm guessing you felt about the way I did when I came across a wide cluster of brown coneflower (echinacea)years ago. Rare and beautiful. Good thing you had a color digital to capture it, unlike my old b&w Minolta. No way I could prove the color, whereas you've got glorious identification and proof in one sweet shot.
