The African Jacana has probably heard bad news and is dealing its worries with the oxpeckers. Can see by the expression on their faces, that they have symphaty with its fate but they realize as well that they can't offer a solution, lol.
I like your story Raj. It conjures up all sorts of possibilities. I suspect its mate has been Jacaning around. You caught their expression (which I thought impossible to do) perfectly.
If it's a member of the coot family and I'm sure it is.There's a reason. The most cantankerous bird known..Good picture and he's spoiling for a fight...R.
That's funny, Raj. The two colorful little ones DO seem to have a concerned look. I bet they figured it out, and there was a happy ending. LOL. A standout shot. I love the lighting and the detail in the Jacana.
A bird I never have seen before Raj. It is not about this sunny day that this bird is upset, I think, because the sun is shining :-)... A very good photo! Gr Mich
Raj - A fine capture of two birds that I have not seen before. Perhaps the bird is looking at its feet thinking that they are so big, it feels as though it is perched on a pedestal. Thad
