We have this kind of butterfly over here, too, Raj. I like the purple/blue edging around the white spots on them. Excellent shot!

They look pretty to me Raj and they aren't as plentiful as the Monarchs. A good composition to bring out all the colors.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
No doubt color has to do with habitat to some degree. For their own protection I suppose the darker ones go into darker places and the bright colored ones skip around the flowers. He's quite beautiful with his blue spots, Raj. The image is really at a nice angle and quite sharp.
