This bird is called Magpie Goose probably because of the black and white colours.

Raj, I see by its style of walking that it's already tired. It's however a long way to go home for it because I see (by checking-out your link) that this bird comes from coastal northern Australia and in southern New Guinea, lol.

Good capture my friend.

It's not an ex-player from Newcastle United football team...(locally called the 'Magpies) is it!...lol

It's even got the same 'strut' as a Toon player!..

A most unsual bird, one I have never seen before.
You got a great shot of it Raj - with plenty of movement. It looks an inquisitive creature.

Here, the 'real' magpies are nesting - dangerous pecking swooping creatures !

This goose may not be as handsome in the face as a Canada Goose, but it does have a look that stands out! I love the black and white feathers. Great looking shot, Raj.

Great capture Raj. This bird has lovely markings created by those black and white feathers and it looks as though those orange legs are about to begin a ballet.

It probably drinks "Old Crow," judging from its beak Raj.
Next time I have to eat crow, I will try one of these.
