Good image, Raj. I noticed that there is some fringing around your bird but it only seems to outline your subject better. Good one of the pigeon. My lens does the same sometimes in certain light conditions.
It appears to be foraging for food but it looks pretty plump right now. You should have invited it to dinner. If pigeons have expressions, this one has a good one. Good shot.
Raj, I've read the comment of Frank. The by him called 'fringes' are the so called chromatic aberrations. Unavoidable in some lighting conditions. One can try to correct them with a good photo editor, e.g. PS (filter/distort/lens correction/chromatic aberration/fix red/cyan or blue yellow fringe) but the result is often disappointing. It doesn't disturb me because they are minimal even at a full screen size image. Fact remains however that's a 'cool' (😜) image.

Good details on this 'woody' (Wood Pigeon)...
